Under this scheme, the state government
will provide assistance including monthly allowance to the children who have
lost their parents in the Koro epidemic i.e. orphaned.
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that
like the central government, the state government has also announced the
implementation of this scheme showing sympathy towards the children.
Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana will be
implemented from May 30, the Chief Minister said.
Orphans will get these benefits
Children will be given a monthly
allowance of Rs.4000 for 18 years, as well as Rs.6000 for 18 to 24 years.
Priority will be given for study abroad,
no income limit will be maintained and 50 per cent fee assistance will be provided
for study abroad under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swalamban Yojana (MYSY).
The government will provide priority for
admission in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, a residential school for
destitute girls as well as hostel expenses.
Such girls will be given priority in the
state government's "Kunwarbai Nu Mameru" scheme.
Such children will be given free rations
under Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana as well as National Food Security Yojana.
Vocational training for such children
above 14 years and skill development training for children above 18 years will
be provided.
Orphans will get these benefits from the
central government
As per the assistance announced by the
Central Government for children orphaned due to corona, such children will be
given a monthly allowance when they turn 18 and Rs 10 lakh from PM CARES when
they turn 23. Free education will be arranged for them.
Such children will also get free health
insurance of Rs 5 lakh till the age of 18.
Along with this such children will be
helped to get education loan for higher education and interest will be borne by
PM Care Fund.

(2) Child's Aadhaar card
(3) Aadhar card of the child's parents
(4) Ration card of the child's parents
(5) Death certificates of the child's parents
(6) Xerox of the child's bank account passbook
(7) Aadhar card of the child who lives with the guardian (of both parents)
(8) Election card and ration card of both the parents with whom the child lives
(1) Benefit is available even if either the mother or the
father has died. 4000 / - per month in case of death of both the parents and
Rs. 2000 / - per month in case of death of one of the parents.
