Gujarat government has announced a new scheme to make the state's parasols self-sufficient by producing fodder for their livestock on their own land.
The state
government has announced assistance of up to Rs 10 lakh for them. The government will provide assistance to Panjrapol for tubewells, solar electrical
panels, green fodder balers, chaff cutters, irrigation systems, railguns or
sprinklers and water pipelines.

This was
repeatedly presented to the government by Panjrapol. Such registered
Panjarapolos of the State will be able to cultivate their own land by
cultivating their own fodder through the availability of water, fertilizer and
seeds and provide livestock in their Panjarapoles.

Registered
Panjrapol with 1 to 10 hectares of land can get assistance up to Rs. 10 lakhs
for tubewells.
With the approach
of relief in electricity bill from the use of solar energy for solar electric
panels Rs. Assistance up to a limit of Rs 8 lakh
Assistance up to
1.5 lakh for Chafcutter
A maximum of Rs.
2.50 lakh assistance will be given to Panjrapols with 8 to 10 hectares of land
Maximum assistance
of Rs. 5 lakhs for sprinkler irrigation system
Assistance for
Rain Gun Irrigation System from Rs. 3 thousand to 1.05 lakh
Benefit can be
availed by applying online on the i-farmer portal
